Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Sayakha, Taluka Vagra, District Bharuch, Gujarat (near Ankleshwar)
CTC: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: BE / Diploma / Graduate in IT
Gender: Male Candidates Only
Job Responsibilities
- Provide desktop, laptop, and end-user technical support.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, and peripheral-related issues.
- Handle passive networking activities, including cable routing, termination, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Work with fiber-optic cables, including installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Handle network switch and port connectivity checks and troubleshooting.
- Support LAN connectivity, patch panels, and structured cabling activities.
- Identify and resolve hardware and network connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with the IT and network teams to resolve technical problems.
- Maintain IT asset records, technical documentation, and service reports.
- Follow site safety procedures and IT support standards.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in passive networking and structured cabling.
- Knowledge of fiber-optic cables and related troubleshooting.
- Understanding of switches, ports, LAN connectivity, and patch panels.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Candidate Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support, Hardware Support, or IT Infrastructure Support.
- BE / Diploma / Graduate in IT or a relevant technical field.
- Practical hands-on knowledge of hardware and passive networking.
- Male candidates only.
- Willingness to work at the Sayakha location near Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
